Fisheries Management Plans heading your way


Fisheries Management Plans – or FMPs as they are often known – will have a major impact on the future management of fisheries in the UK. Everyone who fishes or who buys and sells locally caught fish will be affected, directly or indirectly. New controls designed to limit catch levels are likely to be introduced for the first time on Channel demersal non-quota species. There is the chance to learn more and to have your say. 

The MMO have organised a series of visits around the coast and online sessions.  They are visiting Plymouth (Sutton Harbour) on 9th March, between 4pm and 8pm.  If you can’t make that, or even if you can, you are free to join any one of the online sessions listed below:
