Angling Sessions Prizegiving Event 2025
On Tuesday 25th March at The National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth, participants of our community angling sessions, held throughout 2024, were awarded prizes for their participation.
Five participants who topped the leaderboards of the ‘Species Hunt’ and ‘Best Specimen Percentage’ competitions were awarded with various fishing supplies, kindly donated by Kiddy Wholesale of Torquay and Devon Fishing Guides.
Participants who had attended two or more sessions were awarded with a rod, reel and copy of lead coach, Martyn Green’s book. Tips on how to use this fishing gear can be found on Martyn Green’s YouTube Channel.
The PFSA would like to thank Martyn Green, the Fishermen helpers, Plymouth Council Youth Service, The Angling Trust, Sport England, The National Lottery and everyone else who helped make these sessions a huge success and thoroughly enjoyed by all involved.
We hope to continue these sessions very soon.
